    Least Favorite Age?

I have two little girls 18 and 19 mo old that are really giving me a run for my money! This age is very hard for me. The whinning bc they dont yet have the worlds to express themselves, the noise bc they LOVE to use the new words and sounds they do have, and ALWAYS being tight under my feet so I trip over them everything I turn around, not being able to hold their attention fo more than a few minutes, teaching to use utensils and manners at lunch, only being able to gently re-direct when they push-scream-kick-hit, and not to metion the transition from sleeping in the "babyroom" to the activity room with the big kids. It is just a very exhasting age in my home. I know that all of the things I mention are common and unavoidable but it seems like from 16mo to 22-4 mo is always the hardest for me and when I get most stressed out.

Please tell me I am not the only one!

14 to 20 months for me for most of the same reasons. It's not their fault they want to do so many things that they physically can't manage yet but it still drives me bonkers that the reaction to e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. is a whine or a cry.

I actually like that age, it seems like they learn and change so fast, and I love seeing their personalities emerge. The age I find the most difficult is probably the 4 to 5 age range. Oh, and school age - I don't do SA care for that reason ::.

14 months to 18/20 months here, too. That's a tough transition time for them developmentally and I just don't like it much. I didn't like that age range much when my own DD was in it, either!

School agers. I don't know how those after school programs manage. I'd lose my mind.

Your most certainly not alone in this. For me its 18 mos-2 1/2. I have 2 that are 2 years old and the one boy is a real pistol. Hes temper gets the better of him and right now he throughs him self down on the floor when things dont go his way. Among other things like screaming, pushing others, throughing toys at others, stealing toys from others, fighting with others over toys. All the normal things 2 year olds do. Very hard stage for me. Never a moment to spare! Oh and on top of everything else they have both bitten each other a few times or tried to bite. Never a dull moment!
