    Ikea Wall-Mount Changing Table

Anyone used it? I'm concerned about it's sturdiness and it's potential for use with larger kids. I also want to know if there's a weight limit.

    I really want it though!

I have been using it for about 4 years now and really like it. It does extend into the room quite a ways so be certain you have enough clearance. The only issue I have had is the holder to clip the fold up into is hard to open. My husband put it on the left side and it would probably open easier for me on the right, that hand is my dominate one. Also the material covering it came apart at the seam in one spot after repeated washings so I sewed a vinyl cover for it(which is easier to clean).

As far as strength, if it is screwed into studs you should have no issues. I have a dcb2 that weighs 32 pounds and I trust it. Also have a problem with children hanging on it if I don't fold it up.
    I see little people.

Thanks Childminder! I'm thrilled to hear from someone who's actually used it, and that it sounds like it will last awhile. The bathroom that's off the daycare room has a lot of empty wall space that would be perfect for this, and it would take care of a lot of space problems.

I hope we get a tax refund so I can take a road trip...

The link is in the first post--the words "Anyone used it" are the link.

We use one bathroom exclusively for the day care kids. This meant the tub was not being used and was a huge waste of space. My darling hubby built a table top on 4x4 legs that goes right over the cast iron tub, at the perfect height for me to change diapers (I'm short) So I now have a HUGE changing table! Room for all the wipes, lotions and potions etc! We covered it in vinyl that can be wiped down and disinfected. It's so sturdy my 250 pound hubby can stand on it! As for the area under the tub...it now stores extra blankets and sleeping mats that are not being used! (Kids keep their current ones in their individual cubbies) I shortened a shower curtain and it hangs in front of the table and tub to hide what's underneath. Voila! Great changing table AND extra storage!
