I will happily turn on the tv during those bad days. Last month the kids were sick for weeks with one virus after another. So, we watched a lot of tv during those days.
Today, one of the boys walked in, and he's clearly sad. Mom has been sick with this pregnancy, and she's going to stay in the hospital for a few days for IV fluids (that's what dad says)
So, he's slightly fragile today. (he's 20 months) He keeps throwing himself against my legs and crying "TV!! TV!!".."MICKEY CLUBHOUSE!! BUBBLE GUPPIES"
He's breaking my heart. I'm super tempted to let him watch Bubble Guppies, but, sometimes it's all downhill for us as soon as I turn on the tv.... they watch one show, then want the next one, and the next.
Would you let the whole group watch tv to make one child happy?
*Also, I could turn on a DVD, which is only 30 minutes long, and there's no transition into another show.
