I'm noticing that we may need to start posting about the ones that don't annoy us, just to please the unregistered peeps.
Parents Who Are On Time To Pick Up Their Awesome Kids

Everyone has problem people, but I do have some awesome families. They drop off and pick up on time, they pay on time, they communicate, they bring supplies when asked, and they express their appreciation to me for the care that I provide. The good families and kids really do help with the sting of the bad ones.- Flag

Personally, I have great parents.
Drop off at regular times,
bring me diapers within 2 days of asking,
send kids dressed to play,
provide baby food and formula as needed,
rarely pick up during nap,
always call on the RARE occasion that work makes them late for pick up,
don't bring me sick kids,
pick up kids quickly when called if sick,
only occasionally forget jackets (so we can't go out on windy days),
have NEVER had one pay late!!!!
are overall....GREAT PARENTS!!!!!!- Flag

I did not want to get out of bed this morning, i'm just super tired. My tummy is sort of churning, not sure why. Maybe last nights supper? Realized I have no creamer for my coffee
both dcm's ON TIME!
one dcm thinks she will leave work early today
other one advises she might be taking off friday whole day or half day because of dcb's 1st bday.

I have the best daycare family! I never have to remind them to pay me. She comes in the door with a smile on her face and check in hand. Never had a late pickup. She even was gracious when I asked if it was okay if she picked up by 4:30 on Tuesdays so that I could take my daughter to dance.
I felt bad this morning when she texted me saying that her older girl was sick and that she was going to be bringing the younger one. I had to text her back saying that if one is sick the other one has to stay home too. It's in my policy, but I still felt bad. I absolutely ADORE this family and want to do everything I can to accommodate them.
Here's hoping she is still understanding about this as she has been in the past.- Flag

It's Spring Break here and we chose an activity or project to do each day this week. I texted the parents yesterday about supplies we would need. Within seconds I had five texts telling me "I can bring x,y,z". They all responded immediately, and they all showed up with their supplies today. Awesome!- Flag

This describes most, if not all six of my dc families. Honestly, I read some of the parent posts here and I wonder how I got so lucky? That's not to say that they are perfect, but who is? I'm sure I annoy them some days, too. But for the most part we are able to work together toward the common goal. Happy, healthy kids.
Thank you missnikki for starting this thread; sometimes I think the 'good' parents get lost in the frustration of the 'bad' parents.- Flag

GLADLY!!!
My Holy Grail Parents....
- Drop off at exactly the right times
- Wouldn't THINK of letting me run low on supplies
- Dad picks up early 3 days a week
- Mom has her check in my face practically before I can open the door
- They appropriately blubber and mush over every project
- Their bi-lingual son tells me he loves me "mucho mucho", he's smart, always clean, gets along lovely with my own children, and listens appropriately for a two year old
- Mom called me on Tuesday to bring her check since she would be going away on Wednesday
- NEVER whine about policies
- Mom was late ONCE and asked me how much she owed me (I of course waived their fee)
- Dad tells me that I am GIFTED with children
They were young parents and I had their oldest son in my daycare 10 years ago. They haven't changed a bit....STILL the best daycare parents to ever walk the earth!!!- Flag

I have awesome day care parents. I really admire them and am proud of the job they do. I've learned so much about taking care of kids from them.- Flag

I also have wonderful parents who:
-pick up on time--sometimes even early!!
-bring snacks, fun things for kids to do
-participate in all the themes and parties
-don't complain if I need a day off or need to be off early for appointments (I'm pregnant, so theres been a few)
-pay on time--I have never had a parent try to dodge paying me!!
I am extremely grateful for the parents I do have!- Flag

I have to agree, I have some fab parents! They send the supplies that I need or want, don't argue with me about my illness policy, always act respectfully, and only use childcare for working hours. My fave mom was coming over to pick up her youngest two when she got off of work at 2:15 and then waiting at the school (the school is across the street, she moved the oldest to my school district so they could attend my daycare after I moved) for an hour until kindy boy got out. I had to beg her to just go home, change and relax for a few minutes and then pick them all up at 3:15!She didn't want to take advantage of me!
