We are finishing up our birds and eggs theme this week and next week but I thought it would be fun to use our sensory table to celebrate spring this week. The kids will have fun. I bought a bag of topsoil to put in the table. On Monday and Tuesday we will have the dirt, some fake worms, and some small shovels and rakes that I got at the dollar store. On Wednesday and Thursday I am going to add some seeds and some little pots I also got at the dollar store. For Friday I bought some fake flowers that I will add to the table so they can "plant" them. I also got some really cute bright colored aprons for them to wear while playing in the table. We will grow our real flowers when the weather is consistenly warmer. Anyone else doing anything special to kick off spring?
