Do You Live Close To An Apartment Complex?

If you live close to an apartment complex, how do you market your daycare there? They have a pretty strict policy, so it's not like I can flyer the place. I've put my cards in their deli (which gets a lot of traffic) and mentioned it on Craigslist, but I want to do something more specific. Any ideas???

In my area you can put out "garage sale" type signs along the roadways on the weekends as long as they are gone by sundown, Sunday evening.

    City workers are off duty....

Most apt complex have a monthly newsletter. Most of them like any way to make money for the petty cash. Maybe check and see if you could buy an ad in the newsletter.

Have you tried hanging up a flyer? Maybe you could put up a flyer and write one-day only and have business cards right next to it. Choose a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the evening to put it up so it is not up all day.

In most complexes, that is considered solicitation and is illegal. They complex I lived it would call the police on anyone doing that.

ALWAYS check with the office first and see if they will give permission.

Do they have a pool or a fitness center that you could hang a flyer in? Contact the office and see if there are any cork boards you could hang information on.

I would just contact the office and let them know who you are and ask them how you could potentially advertise to their tenants. You could see if they would be willing to put a card or flyer for you in their lease agreement packages, or information pamphlets.
