after terminating DCP has unpaid fees due, what do you do?

I have had a parent that left and owed about 250.00 I typed up a letter and sent it to them and said they need to pay their bill even if we have to set up a payment plan of 25.00 a week. Or I would be taking them to court and they could pay the court fees and my time that I have to be closed to go. I got a phone call 2 days after I put it in the mail it worked great.

I sent a certified letter to my past clients house requesting the money owed along with the reminder that if they fail to pay that it will be resolved in small claims...

they paid.
