Had to close for the day:(

So, the last two days my 20 mo ds has had a low grade fever (which I think he got from another one of my dks. The mom brought her on friday and she was tired. The DKM brought her kids on MOnday saying she was taking the day off to do work at home. When she arrived, she clearly was sick, but the kids were find).

Okay, so my dh took ds to the minute clinic yesterday because of this, and they found NOTHING...his temp dropped back to normal. DS was tired, and not the same, but he still was playing and involved with the kids. By the end of the day though my son was irritable and I couldn't seem to get him to stop whining. So, again, I took his temp and it had spiked. We took him into the doc again last night, his temp was high and they found NOTHING. He has all of his teeth, so I don't see how it would be that. Last night I contacted my families to tell them I would be closing for the day since there was a spike in temp last night.

This morning, my son is SUPER hyper and energetic and back to himself....what a stinker. I have no Idea what this is about....but it is deffinitly wierd.

So I guess I can catch up on all of the sleep I lost from the last three nights of my son wrestling around. I hope you all have a good day. I will finally take that nap that everyone has been talking about on here!

AW! That sounds familiar though...it's like they're "brewing" something but it never quite materializes. Sometimes I hate that even more 'cause you never know how to help them and they're so miserable. The next day they're running marathons...what the heck???

Has he had roseola? That sounds a LOT like roseola. I bet he shows up with a lacy red rash in a couple days.
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

Not sure about roseola, but I will keep an eye out. The doc (his normal pediatrition), said she was really suprised nothing showed because this year has been the worst year regarding strep and influenza.

Poor little man. He isn't energetic now, he has gone worse...again...it seems to be a pattern. So, now he is watching Toy Story which is the only thing keeping him calm it seems. What a treat..now he is going to think he gets to watch a lot of TV!!
