    Bad Morning!!!

So the past two days I haven't felt well, I have laryngitis with a cough...I had a really bad headache this morning along with it so I brought the three children I had down to the living room to watch a movie so I could relax a little bit...well 30 minutes goes by and the one boy threw up every where, on his clothes and all over the carpet...took me about 40 minutes to clean up everything....I double gloved and washe my hands about 30 times..His father is working 12 hours mandatory shifts and mom just left for Florida this morning to go see her mother. Grandmother dropped off and was picking up so I had to call her to come get him... I told her I don't let children come back until it has been 24 hours since they have got sick...He goes to preschool on Thursdays and I pick him up at 11:30...she said she will call me and let me know how he is doing...What is your sick policy for a child that gets sick at your home? I really hope she doesn't plan on bringing him tomorrow even if he doesn't get sick again, I can't risk getting the flu right now, financially...Let alone my boyfriend is suppose to start his new job Monday...he can't be calling off his first week...Ahhh what a rough morning

this morning I had to throw the PHB illness policy at one of my families... I would just stand your ground and tell Gma sorry when he is free of vomiting for 24 hours and any other symptoms he can return. Thanks

You poor thing. I am thinking that Grandma doesn't know the policy particulars so I would just ask her to wait another day. She'll probably stay home and give him some grandmama lovin'!!!
