It's already an hour past normal nap time so why is everyone still awake?

I totally thought that everyone would go out early so I served all meals early and even picked up my daughter early from school so no one would crash in the car. . Instead they all fought me. The dcks are now all sleeping but my DS has decided he's not napping today. He's a horrible sleeper, day or night.

Mine are all down at regular time. The 2.5 y/o actually ASK to take a nap when the babies did this morning. Of course, I said YES!!!!!!

i am right there with you today the 2 new boys are not sleeping and keep trying to play i just put a movie in for them and not they are not even quiet and keep trying to play more ugh! so no nap time today but at least i got all the new paperwork made out for them

I am having the same issue today. For some reason I have to put the kids in individual rooms or they wont sleep. I am running out of bedrooms. I have to figure this out!

Normally I nap all 3 or 4 kids in my son's room, but today I had one in there, one in the kitchen, my DS in my bed and my DD on the couch "resting". Thank goodness we live in a single level home.

no daycare kids today, but I'm off (whaddya mean it's almost bedtime?! It's still light out! Oh crap...) and my DD is throwing royal fits every 5 minutes. She's three, and this is pretty normal, but I think she's tired because the fits seem a bit more...irrational and over the top...than they have been lately.
