that I have found this board to be refreshing and wonderful. It has helped me eliminate my stress! I have become a better provider (I feel) after reading all your advice. This advice means more to me than any text book or any person who is in the county because YOU all are working the job. Some of these "professionals" out there have not worked daycare and are speaking from what books say. I feel there is a lot to be said when you get advice from someone who is actually doing the job or has done the job.

Peer support is a wonderful thing! Just always remember to check your facts. Just as we wouldn't take parenting advice from strangers we shouldn't compromise the quality of our care by accepting advice from that which isn't rooted in experience in quality programs and developmentally appropriate practice.
