Just told one daycare family I am pregnant and after a congrats she said, "Let me know once you know your due date more accurrately (waiting on ultrasound for clarification). I might just take a week or two off until you are back. I have some vacation time to use."
This from a mom who took off 5 months and only had her older one in daycare 1 day a week while she was off for maternity. (I accommodated because it was when lots of people were getting laid off and I was hard up for clients).
HA. My intention is to take 6 weeks off minimum but I'll cross that brigde with her once I know my due date more closely! She must think this isn't a job but more of a hobby. LOL!
