No curriculum here, is this enough?

Most of my kids are ages 1 and 2 and almost 3. I have my own 4 year old and one other 4 year old who attends preschool 3 days a week. So, what I do is everyday play and ask them questions. For instance, we have the big mega blocks that I bring out about once a day or so, and we talk about the colors, that they are smooth and etc. I have flash cards with colors and shapes and abc's. I read lots of books. We do games every once in a while where we pass around a piece of clothe or an item of some kind and I ask the kids to describe it. How it feels, what shapes it makes, what color it is, etc. I have looked into curriculums for young kids like this, and with the group I have, I just think it would be a waste of money! I bought a huge book of circle time activities and I use a lot of those. Does this sound like enough? I never advertised as a preschool, and even state in my PHB that I am NOT a teacher, but do try to use every day activities as learning experiences. We do crafts, holiday projects, etc. Sound ok?

Sound a lot like my day. Here is the first paragraph in my PHB,

My goal is to provide a safe, loving and secure environment for your child. I will treat each child equally and the same as if they were my own.

No where do I mention preschool. I'm not. I teach the same daily life skills and basic colors, shapes, numbers and letters that I did with my children.

I teach them the things they usually won't get in a preschool setting....."don't talk with your mouth full', "don't play with your feet at the table", "don't take toys away from anyone", how to dress themselves (most parents hurry in the morning and don't teach it.), learning left shoe from right shoe, etc., you get the point. I prepare them for life. School gives them the education.
