    What do you think of these? Do you think toddlers would get legs caught? Do you think they would be unsafe?

      That would be a good reason they are selling them!!

        Drop side cribs have been banned. That's what these are, correct? If you have a licensed child care facility and own a drop side crib, you have to replace them. They're banned as of June 2011, but I think facilities have a bit more time to replace their equipment.

          They are banned in the US, (or will be) and, soon it won't be legal to sell them on Craigslist.

          I think it is very irresponsible of them to try to sell them at all.

            Aside from the drop side danger, those look awfully high from the top of the railing to the floor. If a child somehow managed to get to the top of the rail, that'd be quite a way to fall. JMO of course.

                Target is selling the new ones to meet code starting at $119 in 4 colors... online, only....

                That is the cheapest I have found so far that meets the new requirements...

                They come in white, black, cherry and pine...

                The others seem to run about $139 - $159.... still not too bad since that ad was asking $100 for used AND recalled cribs....::::::

                  I sent a very nice email to the person selling them and told them that these kind of beds have been recalled.

                    That's mature. I was going to send a snarky scathing email. LOL. Then, I was going to flag them. I even considered signing up for that area's craigslist to make my own post berating the seller of those dangerous cribs. But, that seemed like too much work.

                      Sadly, they can sell them until June...

                        The man emailed me back and said;

                        Thanks. Had no idea.

                          I hope he didn't. But, I guess he's free to sell them if he wants anyway.
