    Food Program Question

This might be a stupid question but i'm new to this stuff since i'm not licensed. Do i have to be licensed to have a food program? If not what is a good food program i can get into from MO? Thanks for your help.

    In my State you do.

It's REALLY worth it. It's a little bit of paperwork every day but it helps SO much with the cost of the food. It doesn't pay for labor but it does pay for the food.

With you being in Missouri you will most likely come ahead in the food program in the spring, summer, and fall months when fresh food is cheaper. If you can, try to buy in August and September your frozen veggies and fruit. This is the time when the big food producers are cleaning out their inventory. You should be able to stock green veggies and fruits for around a dollar a pound or so. That alone will help you thru the more expensive winter months.

If you have to register to get on it just do it. It's worth it.
