I am wondering how much liability coverage is customary for a home-style day care for 5 kids, ages 3 to 5. I have no clue how much coverage I need. Would anyone mind sharing what kind of coverage you have for a home day care?

In my province if you're registered with child care resource & referral you get a break on coverage, so for $5,000,000 coverage I pay about $370/yr or so.- Flag

I have my daycare insurance coverage through Adults & Childrens Alliance. I forget off the top of my head what coverage is and how much it was, but it if I remember correctly it was less than $300/yr and included covering transportation. I'll have more info later. Good deal though.Give a little love to a child, and you get a great deal back.- Flag

I'm in Canada, the company I use is called Pacific Care. Unless you happen to live in BC, I don't think that's going to help you unfortunately hehe.- Flag
