I think each state has there own hrs. What i would do is call around at Daycare Facilities, maybe even make a post on CL in your area to see what other childcare providers that do in home set there hrs for. See what the state guidelines are as well. You can get a number off the web for DES I believe that can talk to you over the phone in ref. to your question. Facilities have too follow specif guidelines set by law and I believe if an In home is funded by state they have to stick with those rules as well.
