I am being spoiled today. :: DH grilled steaks and made twice baked potato's for lunch. He said he wanted steak and is not willing to give up taco night... ::::::

I am supposed to be putting up a tree with the daycare kids this afternoon, I don't see that happening with such a heavy lunch. Maybe waterpaints and staring out the window.....
How nice of him! That sounds delicious. We do taco Tuesday here, too. My carne asada is currently marinating in the fridge for tonight.

He is pretty awesome. I really am spoiled most days. It has been a transition to him working exclusively from home these past couple years, but we have finally found our flow. Well, most days. ::::

Our tacos for tonight are "Sweet Chili Pork Tacos with Red Cabbage Slaw, Zesty Crema & Peanuts". It will be our second time having them and man are they delicious. lovethis We are still doing Every Plate 3 nights a week. It has been really fun and has introduced us to things we have never seen in our grocery stores. Can't beat the prices, either. I was surprised.

Are those tacos from your Every Plate? I got so sick of tacos when our kids were growing up because we had them every single week but those tacos sound really good!

Yes! They have a couple different tacos, quesadillas, flat breads or tostadas almost weekly in the choices. There are usually about 12-14 choices each week, vegetarian, too. Black Bean & Pepper Jack Tostadas with Southwest Lime Crema & Spicy Pico de Gallo is for tomorrow. lovethis It really is worth it for us. $38 per week/3 big meals/2 people. Easy fun.

Speaking of trees —The winds here have been so strong the last 4 days that my poor tree in the front yard blew down last night. I will spend today cutting it up. Right now it’s an eyesore.

Ugh. You have my sympathies. We are still clearing downed trees all over our property from Zita. :dislike:

I can imagine! My in-laws were in the eye of that CAT5 hurricane Michael (no less). They had at least 5 huge trees come down. One in their garage. It takes a lot of money and work to remove them. I’m lucky. Mine is about 15 feet tall with a 1 foot diameter.

Just heard on the radio that the first few to get the vaccine in the UK included William Shakespeare. Wow, I did not know he was still alive. ::

I want nothing to do with these vaccines, I rather take my chances with the virus
