    I do it the same way. Rephrase as a question (like example above) or I might say "Yes, SHE is going outside TODAY."

      That’s I what I do as well.
      Child: “I makked up my cot myself.”
      Me: “You made up your cot all by yourself?”

      Again for me it depends on the age. I’m more likely to correct a 4 year old than a toddler. If a child is under 2.5 I usually don’t say anything at all. I’m just happy to see them using big boy/girl words.
