    Gate Security Suggestions Needed

I have a metal gate with a latch at the side of my house which leads to backyard. It is the 2nd fire egress so it has to remain unlocked plus parents enter to leave strollers, scooters etc in the backyard. I'm concerned about randoms entering which happens. Any suggestions on how to secure it to keep the randoms out?

It’s either secure or not. What is a random? Placing a latch high enough so that children can’t reach it is the only security that a non-locked gate can have. Random adults will always have access. Post a Do Not Enter sign.

Ok, I was thinking a sign as well.
Random is a person who should not be on premises.
