      This annoys me too.

But... I don't think parents are even thinking about what we are doing. They are wrapped up in their own worlds and what the day looks like for them. Other then thinking, "oh shoot I am late, **** on a granola bar" they don't even think of how it will mess up our schedule, or how if several are late every week it throws off our routine. They expect us to wear several hats and wear them well. They don't know our plans and schedules.... they are busy worrying about everything they have to do to get to point A to point B to point C and dealing with their own daily juggles. They just don't think on the same level that we are.

          breakfast is 830-850
          lunch is 1130-12
          snack is 230-245

If they are not sitting at the table by 850 there not gonna eat! Sometimes we have that random parent who calls with a good reason (my car broke down, my kid was being a complete butthead ect)

I work in a large center and we serve breakfast for the preschoolers at 8:30. If they come at 8:40 we will still serve them but if they walk in at 8:59 and everything is put up then they don’t get breakfast. Most of my late arrivals have already eaten at home so it’s really not an issue.

Okay, I'm doing a new schedule now.

I just want to say that if dcks do not arrive PRIOR to snack and lunch times, then they will not be eating and will need to be fed at home as we have a schedule to stick to.

How do I word this correctly? Having trouble coming up with the right thing to say.
