Impetigo or Pimple That Has Been Picked?

I have zero real life experience with impetigo. Does this look like it, or a pimple that popped and was picked at?

DCK, 3, had this Monday. Did not have anything on Friday. Mom said child got it over the weekend, and thinks it was a pimple that popped and DCK keeps picking at it.

I don't want to unnecessarily exclude a child and refer them to the pediatrician's office (especially in our current situation) but I also don't want something possibly spreading here.

    Help?

It looks ulcerated to me. Maybe a scrape, maybe a cold sore. It also looks mostly healed though, I'd just go with a day or two of Neosporin and a small waterproof bandage.

Impetigo is usually wet in the middle and crusty yellow on the edges.

ITA to watch it for another day or two and see what it does. If it doesn't heal more or gets bigger it's impetigo. If it heals more it's not.
