Normally I don't administer meds. dcd brought eye drops for pink eye twice a day for ten days. Do you admin eye drops? Also noticed they are only treating one eye and clearly there is green gunk in the untreated eye. I think both eyes need treated. Wwyd? Kid is 3 and constantly touching his face. I've already made him wash his hands twice this morning.

2x/24 meds are to be given every 12 hours. That is a parental responsibility. How lazy can one possibly be?
No, I would not give that.I would send home until eyes are clear of green and goop.

With the exception of Epipen, nebulizer, topical ointments and lotions, in NYC we cannot administer medication without being certified in medication administration. While I am certified, I still do not give meds because, like someone mentioned, it is a liability.
If you do, have parents thoroughly complete a permission to administer medication form and make sure medication is in original container.- Flag
