So Who's Late?

I have two DCMs that are friends and the DCBs are on same tball team. Because of schedules DCM1 is authorized to pick up DCM2's kids a couple times a week. One problem- DCM1 shows up 3-5 minutes before I close due to her work schedule. Someday soon she's going to end up arriving late. It's going to happen eventually due to traffic, construction, etc. If it happens on a day she's picking up DCM1's son which DCF do I bill for late pickup? DCM1 because it's her child or DCM2 because she's responsible for picking up late?

So far it hasn't happened. I'm hoping schedules get changed before it does.

I would say both DCMs are late and would need to pay. It would be no different if a DCP line up Grandma etc to pick up and Grandma was late. I would probably address it before it happens though.

You are billing tuition accounts, not cars.

The late fees are assigned to the late child's account. It is that family's responsibility to make sure the child is picked up on time.
