She slept today, after banging around a bit, and then a good stern glare from me. Oh thank goodness.

My older DD was an angel, all the time. I used to look at some people's difficult children and think to myself, geez, what are they doing wrong? And then came DD2. Holy crap. I really do try to judge people on their own actions now, instead of what their kids do, because honestly, sometimes there is nothing you can do. I expect a lot from my children (and dck's) and they all deliver, but that one has put up a fight from the day she was conceived!

Do not give the paci back. If you have gone this many nights without it (and your all still alive to tell about it) she doesnt need it.

My kid is loud at nap and doesnt wake up anyone else. He hasnt had a paci since 18months and 1 day and I wouldnt ever consider giving it back.

It is terrible for their teeth and affects speech. People who let their kids have pacis/**** their thumb until they enter K do it for themselves not for thier kids. If you want peace and quiet- wear earplugs. At least until this passes.
