Who Doesn't Have A Back Yard?

I don't. I live in a 1700sq. Townhome with a wrap around front porch. It has a short gate so everyone that walks by can see us. What creative things do you do for outside play. We usually go to parks daily there are about 4 within walking distance but one of the kids I watch doesn't listen well so she scared me away from the parks for a few months.

I've seen a daycare provider's house who doesn't have a yard either, just a front patio area. But that area is completely covered with playground equipment of all kinds, as well as a basketball hoop for little ones. I don't know how big your porch is, but could you just invest in some Step 1 and Step 2 slides, climbing things for your porch? Make an art station, get some jump ropes, etc. That way you don't always have to go to the park if a child isn't handling it properly.
