    Washing toys

Noses and coughs..for the last 6 weeks!! Some fevers as well. Im washing toys constantly...bleaching hand contact surfaces daily. I believe its still going around because toys are not washed after illnesses at home. Does anyone have a hand out to give to parents about this? TIA.

I use something really similar to this handout when kids get sick.

I say something along the lines of "Hey DCM/DCD, here's a really good handout about cleaning and sanitizing at home when your child is sick. I use similar methods here at daycare to keep everyone healthy as possible so I thought it might be useful for parents as well"

Sometimes I simply staple it to the back of the form I use when I send a child home from care.
