What temp do you keep your house?

We finally have "warm" weather here! I turn off the furnace and pop open a window for a little fresh air in the house.

What temp do you keep your house? Just wondering when I should close the window and turn the furnace back on.

70 ish in the winter and 78ish in the summer.

68 or 70 in the Winter (we live in the South) and 70 or 75 in the Summer it all depeds how hot it is that day. We have also been getting warm weather its been in the 60s since Monday and this Friday and Saturday its suppose to be i the 70s YEAH open window weather.

71-72 in the winter, 77-78 in the summer. But we're experimenting with the temps since we're in a new house. Really, every house's temps feel different!

in canada its cold, but our house is set at 68 degrees and in the summer its almost 80 or 81. I have ceiling fans in every room and my house is shaded by trees so it keeps the sun out. I always open all the windows and my doors in the summer so it really never gets hot in the house.

In the winter I am constantly adjusting the thermostat depending on how much we are all moving but usually 66 to 68. I have one mom that drives me nuts! I love her but she mentions daily how cold her daughters hands are. I wear a sweater and I'm fine. None of the other children seem to have issues with it so I don't know maybe it's poor circulation?

First off my son as asthma so I can't have the house toasty or when he goes outside it's a shock to his lungs and not healthy for him at all. He kept getting sick and the Dr. finally told me that was why and we haven't had issues since then. Second I heat with fuel oil and pay $400 per month on heat in the winter so unless she would like to pay me more weekly or pay the extra in the heating I really wish she would get over it .

our regs say it must be at least 68 in the winter. i cant STAND it that hot. so i usually run between 62 and 65, and crank it up when i see the licensor pull in. (actually, she was here yesterday and never said anything.)

i was also outside in a tshirt and it was 20.

My thermostat is on the main floor, daycare is lower level so what I set it for is different in the daycare space.

Winter set for 72, playroom is 67ish
Spring/fall try not to have it on, the temp hangs around 65-70 in the playroom
Summer set for 78, playroom is 74ish.

I set thermostat to 68 in winter (70 if it's windy out b/c my house gets colder). And 74-76 in summer. Windows open whenever possible in spring, summer, and fall.

Regs require min temp of 65 in house.
