    Thank you for all of the advice. I am not aware of any school resource officer at our school but I will ask. I plan on speaking with the principle on Monday and opening a conversation with him. I was hesitant to do so because this is happening off of school grounds but that seems like the most direct route to take at this time.

    I will keep you all posted.

      My 2 cents

      I was a school principal for years. Since it is occurring off school grounds I suspect there is little the school can do. I recommend the next time they come near your group and begin to cause trouble, pull out your phone.

      Firmly but respectfully explain to them that "I have asked you repeatedly to leave our group alone and you have chosen not to do so. Continuing to do so is called harassment and I will be contacting the police if it continues. Should I do so now or would you prefer to leave us alone?". If they choose to continue call the non-emergency line to your local police department.

      I'm assuming simply telling them you are going to should do the trick, but if not it would be a legitimate complaint.
