Ohio Law Re: Living In Daycare Home?

In another thread, some people talked about renting or purchasing a second home to run their daycare out of. Does anyone know if this is legal to do in Ohio? I know we have several providers here from Ohio. I've looked in the regs and I must be missing it...

No, in Ohio to be considered a daycare home (Type A or B), the facility must be the caregiver's primary residence.

Otherwise, Ohio considers the facility a "center" - which is allowable - but then all of the regulations change to those of a "center" and not "daycare home".

    Hope this helps!
