I am having another baby in late April and want to take a few weeks "off" to rest and focus on new baby. I have an almost 2 year old son already and have a great group of kids enrolled in my home daycare, so I am wanting to hire an assistant/sub for a few weeks so I don't have to close my doors and interrupt care. I am stuck on what is an acceptable rate to pay an assistant or sub. Any advice? I am located in the Denver area, as I am sure rates vary around the country.
