SA Activities

Those of you who do SA care, what types of activities do you find keep your kids entertained? My own 6 yo is struggling. He needs to be challenged in some way most of the time or he just bounces off the walls. I've thought maybe he needs some new "older kid" toys as everyone else in the house is 3 & under, but I don't even know what types of things to invest in.
