New Member - New Daycare

Hi everyone!

I'm new to this website and have scanned quite a bit, so I apologize if my question is redundant but a lot of the past conversations I've seen were over a decade ago so I wanted to reach out personally

I'm a new mom, I have an 11 month old (he'll be 1 this Sunday!!!). My grandma and I would like to open a home daycare at her house, and have looked over some of the information that has been provided on this website. I wanted to know, coming from personal experience - what tips / pointers / advice you might have for someone starting a new home daycare for 4-6 children under the age of 5. We're in California if that helps
