    Taxes

How much do you pay to have your daycare taxes done? So far I've called 2 places and gotten a quote for $500 and $300.

I have had mine done with H & R Block the last several years - They have been anywhere from $500 - $750.. I've called around to find other pricing but it's about the same with people I checked with. And you need to make sure they are up to date on all of the daycare tax "laws" and "rules".. The business I used prior to H & R Block had NO clue about daycare stuff.. Just my 2 cents! Good luck!

$150 and she is amazing. She is a CPA and participates in the IRS's voluntary tax preparer program. She gives us a list of what she needs, we comply and have never been disappointed. We always get back a beautifully assembled annual binder to keep in case of audit. I never worry about taxes with her.

My tax person charges approximately $200-75 depending. My husband and I are both self-employed so some years are harder and involve more paperwork than other years but it's never been more than $275.

Daaaang. Some of you have some pretty affordable tax people.

Since doing daycare, I had mine done once. She charged me $450 and didn't take HALF the deductions that I knew I was allowed. So, I ended up redoing them myself.

I spend about $100 on Turbo Tax Business at Costco and do them myself.

Before daycare (strictly W2), I had them done annually for $150.

I also do them myself. I use taxslayer online software. I have used it for years and had experience with 1099's and being self employed for a while. I think I pay around 60 bucks or so for it.

Are these rates quarterly or annually?

That is the total charge she bills me one time per year.

I believe ours is between $200-$300 to have them done. Last year was the first year we have had to pay Dreading having them done this year.

Plus I learned about a fellow providers audit over a four year time, what she had to pay back and it terrifies me!
