Interview On Thursday

I have a school mom that just called me and wants to come meet me. She was very sweet on the phone. She has a 13m & 3yr, and as I told her I only have FULL time openings. She made the appointment for Thurs and I remembered something someone said on the forms.... I said you are to call me around 2pm to confirm your app., if I don't hear from you then I will consider the appt canceled. She said she was impressed with my website and lived very close to me and really wanted to meet me. Then when I ask her if she had anymore questions, she said no i don't think so, and I will call you around 2pm on thursday . She listened!!

But I will do what Nan says.... I am putting it out of my head until 5pm on thursday!

Mom called me at 2pm and confirmed her appointment for 5. The interview went really well and the children were really good. The parents would even tell the children NO.

The interview lasted about 45 minutes and they even helped pick up the toy room. The children played with my 2 dck's 5 & 2 and they all played good together

Just now I get a call from mom and she said they will be here tonight at 5 to drop off money

The hours are great!! Mon. & Fri. 7:15 - 2:00, Wed. & Thurs. 7:00 - 4:30 and off on Tues. Full Time rates for both and no discount!!

And I had ask on a different thread how everyone was charging and most said same for all ages. I decided to go with this;

ages 6 weeks to 23 months $115.00
ages 24 months to 5 $105.00

I have NO openings now, but I will still continue to advertise and place children on a waiting list!

I also borrowed the call to confirm idea and it worked with both my interviews last week. One family signed on. Unfortunately I've not heard back from the other.

That is great news! I have been full for a long time but this year, I am downsizing to two kids which is good enough since I plan to close my daycare this summer.

wonderful news! Maybe this is the beginning of a "good streak" for everyone?! We have nice weather and I work tomorrow and have a FOUR DAY WEEKEND so I'm happy too!
