    Own Daughter's Cold

On Friday my 6 month old daughter began to exhibit cold symptoms (runny nose/congestion). This is her first cold and with Friday's holiday I didn't have any kiddos. She has now transitioned into having a cough. She has not had s fever. Should I give my families the heads up or is ensuring appropriate sanitation procedures (including her not sharing toys) appropriate? Thanks!

I give a heads up for severe cold symptoms. A mild cold related cough isn't something I would worry about it.

If its something i would normally exclude thier child for but nothing serious I usually give a heads up with option to stay home and not pay for the day. No one ever takes me up on this. But, if their child becomes sick and has to stay home then they still have to pay for the days missed. So it's their gamble. I have a small group that makes it easier, and my own kids are able to be separated fairly easily.
