Good morning! I have a pay on Fridays policy and parents put check in the notebook that goes back and forth each day. One long time family forgot to put check in this morning. Would you text to remind them or wait to see if they have it at pickup? They're not shady, I'm sure they just forgot since they were off yesterday.

I would shoot a quick text and say something along the lines of "hey, I noticed the check wasn't in the notebook like it usually is. You may want to double check that it didn't fall out at home or in the car."
With a long time family I wouldn't worry. -
Problem solved! She texted me apologizing for forgetting! I like your suggestion, though. Never dealt with this issue in 4+ years.Comment
