        Ooh ooh ooh I had the chair one, too.

        "Don't make us do your work." Show of hands--how many have parents who'll bring a child for drop off, and the child is clutching an unacceptable item, and the parent says "Miss So-and-So won't let you keep this," and looks at us expectantly, waiting for us to take the item away?

        Is it. . . it's every parent, isn't it?

          Yes. Yes it is pretty much every.single.parent now days.

          I won't play though.

          looking directly at parent "It's not MY decision Mrs Parent. YOU knew the rules here so YOU need to take it. Jr may come in when he is 'ready' to"

          I will NOT allow a parent to make me the bad guy.
