OMG How Does This Happen

My house is trashed! I just cleaned my kitchen and it's spotless, organized, and smells awesome...I walked into the living room and it's DESTROYED...

I'm tired from cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen now I have to clean this hot mess before parents get here...and of course when I finish the living room the kitchen will somehow be trashed again.

Am I the only one who CAN NOT keep a clean house, like it's IMPOSSIBLE to have it ALL clean at the same time!!!!!!!!!

same thing happened to me.
Kids cleaned it up pretty good, just needs a vacuum. Kids let one of the dogs out of the crate, and she PEED on my carpet! GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...

No, you are definitely NOT alone!! I deal with this almost on a daily basis. Seems like I just clean, clean, clean... just to do some more cleaning. I couldn't imagine how it would look if I took a break on Daycare.com? ::::::

My mom stopped by a couple of weeks ago with lunch and she gave me grief about how my house looked cluttered with toys... I was like, um, I run a daycare! Then she watched my dck'd last week just after I cleaned up and they made a big hot mess while she was here... she told me that she'd never bring it up again! ::

I dont have a ton of free play so my house stays pretty clean. We are always in a project or lessons, unless its outside play time.
The kids are only allowed in the dedicated DC room and the bathroom. When we are done with a project everyone helps clean up.

When playing with toys, they must put one toy away before another can be taken out.....

I wash dishes while they are eating and prepare my next meal. I have all of the kids clear the table when done eating and scrape all the food they dont eat in the trash. I always have an older child wipe down the table with a wet paper towel. always vacuum right after we eat lunch as all the kids set up for naps.

At 5:15 I stop all activities and we put on an educational show until parents arrive so that I can clean up if necessary. If no mess we read books or have a puppet show until 5:30 closing

I hear your pain, I feel like some days thats all I do, and now it seems worse now that I rearranged the room.
