May lose my mind Today

So we had some weather from the storm, not a lot as I guess the second wave will be here around 1 pm. The 5:30 family was supposed to be here but didnt show up and sent me a text at 5:55 "its too bad out we will be there later" Well thanks you didnt realize that oh maybe at 5:15 when you usually leave your house???? Or wait you overselpt and blamed it on the weather???? Im thinking that is more likely, too bad I couldnt have slept more. Then they finally show up at 8:35 and I am told "they didnt have breakfast I had to wake them up so if you want to go ahead and make them something small" Ummm yeah sure since you know if its after 8 I am done serving breakfast. I am praying that if it gets too bad that all the parents will come and get their kids early. The 3 yr old boy is naughty and punched a girl in the eye, I hate this job today and am not sure how I will make it until 5:30 since I am sure my hope of early pick up will not happen.

Hang in there. Gather up some things that will keep the kids busy moving around to burn off their energy, give them a hearty lunch and then everyone will take a good solid nap. We've been bouncing around all morning here. Just got done with our lessons and now after a 5 minute video to clean up the mess from art time we'll move back to moving and grooving time until lunch.

sounds like we are having similar days. Most of me wished I never woke up this morning...I would die for some rain, my warm blanket, bed, pillow, tub of choc peanuts, and a romantic tear jerker right now.............

Sounds like you need a day off from all KIDS...
