Raising Rates To Provide Diapers Yourself?

Did you switch to providing your own diapers and wipes, after having parents bring them in?

If so, how much did you build into the rate to cover this? Or did you keep your rates the same?

Also: Best ecofriendly-ish diaper that doesn't leak?

I didn't go eco friendly, I just got sick of cheap diapers. I went with pampers. Auto renew on Amazon, prime pantry, best deal ever.

I raised my rates $25/week for incoming clients and included everything but changes of clothes.

I figured that I spend about $7 per week, per diapered child to supply diapers, wipes, sunscreen, swimsuits, etc. myself. I provide EVERYTHING. I raised my rates by $17.50 across the board, which has more than covered it.

Ecofriendly? I can't answer. I buy Up & Up from Target sometimes, others, I buy Pampers from Amazon when I find an amazing deal. Luvs can be a good buy, too-I used to LOATHE Luvs, but I am guessing that they have changed the design, because I no longer mind them. I never have Target diapers or Pampers leak on me, and haven't had Luvs leak for a couple of years.

I tried this for 2 years and I kept getting comments that parents wanted to use their brand or as is the case now, most the kids are in cloth diapers - when my oldest baby leaves end of month all will be in cloth; I did raise my rates, but it got to the point I was more expensive than anyone wanted to pay so I dropped the idea. I still supply wipes just so I know I won't run out & I take it off on taxes . I am an Eco childcare, so the cloth doesn't bother me

I've always had the parents bring diapers and wipes because some children are allergic to certain brands. Two of our granddaughters got horrid rashes when they wore Pampers, so as a parent I'd want to provide a brand that would be safe for my child. Although I suppose you could handle it like formula - I provide ________, you can provide your own if you prefer.
