    Part Time Family Woes

This is week 2 of Summer break in our area, and I have a 4 year old enrolled for 2 days a week. Last week she showed up once, and cancelled twice after getting permission to switch days. Now this week she is a no show again. Ugh.

This is a previous DC Family too, who knows how I work! How do I word a dismissal to this family. I am not planning activities and planning other Children's schedules around a child who hasn't shown up more than she has actually attended?

    Dear DCF

Due to failure to communicate in a timely manner in regards to scheduling and absences, our agreement for child care is being terminated effective immediately.

    Sincerely

    Provider

Short and sweet. No need to confuse them with unnecessary communication.
