We are outside from around 8:30-12 and then again from 3:30-5. Just wondering how often you put sunscreen on the kids? I do first thing in the morning and again around 10. Do you put it on in the afternoon?

My play yard is complete shade until 10 am and after 4 pm so I apply after snack. Then again after nap. -
We're out from 10-11:30am and 4-5:30pm.

If we are outside for 1 hour then I don't at all regardless of time of day.
We are about to have "summer camp" from 9:00-11:00 or so come June. I'll have the parents apply it before the 8:00-9:00 drop off window. I ask for a face stick now and will re-apply that before we head out but that's it. Sunscreen really icks me out so I avoid it as much as possible.Comment

It's important to follow the directions on the sunscreen since it's considered a topical OTC medication in most states.
I apply it just before we line up to go potty before going outside. Every time we go out. So 2-3 times a day depending on weather.Comment

Parents are responsible for putting it on before they get here in the morning and then I put it on after afternoon snack.Comment

I put it on about 15 minutes before going out. If we are at the park (little shade there) I will reapply after an hour.
