My turn - Tips on how to rearrange my daycare area!

I can't afford to paint or do any major renovations right now, but I am getting tired of my current set up and everyone here always has such great ideas - so here it is - my current set up.

It's a full basement - we have one small bedroom that we use as a kitchenette and project area (it has linoleum, everything else is carpet)

Can you brighten the walls with something? I will show you some of my walls pics. I went to everythings a $1 store, and bought the foam board used tape to tape all boards together, then put construction paper on boards, used border (from teachers supply store). This way i can take down what i have on the boards and (save it) then put up something else. each one of my decorated wall boards cost about $20.00 and that was including the foam boards.

Could you cover the walls with fabric? Fabric stores always have bolts of cheap fabric... you could probably even get some with a fun print too.

        love the foam board idea.
I went to michaels and bought a roll of white wrapping paper cost about $3-4.00,, it has like a shipping paper feel to it. I then came home and hung it on my walls and then painted a huge tree on it. I then used apple cut outs that I got from the dollar tree and used them as apples on the tree. I then took pictures of the kids participating in acvtivities and printed them out on the computer, glued them on the apples. Some apples have picture, some have the kids names. We have added to it over the last two months with some butterflies and a cute friendship sun. Sometimes we hang the letter of the week in the tree, the kids think that its so funny.
So my total cost was about $6.50, because I already had the paint. I used the art paint from our daycare supply. If I can get my camera working I will take a pic later today...
