    Quad Stroller?

I am legally unlicensed for 5 kids and I have them part time. On any given day I have 3-4 kids and I have been thinking about getting a quad stroller to get outside for walks. I have 3 infants, a 2 yr old, two 3 yr olds and a 4 yr old.

I am mainly thinking about exercise and fresh air for me! I have a wagon which I use in the summer for going to the park but you can't exactly use it for going on walks.

Do you have a large stroller? Is it worth the investment?

I've had a Foundations 4 seat folding stroller for years. Not cheap but worth every penny. Durable, easy to push, and fits in the back of my van.

I have a quad. Much easier to use than a stroller.

Resale value is good and it is very easy to resell (at least in my area).

My foundations quad is hard to push. Idk...I bought it used. But having said that, even my triple play wagon (which I love) is hard to pull when it's full of three heavy kids and I'm trying to pull up even a very slight incline.

I like the big wheel runabout one (I think that's what it's called). I stopped at a center near here to try theirs out one time. I couldn't believe how easy it was to push. And you can get a car seat insert. The negatives of that would be the cost plus the storage.

I gave up trying to fold mine, it was so hard. Maybe it was in bad condition when I bought it used and I didn't know it. I only keep it for emergency use. I hate using it.

Oh my. And I even reread my posts before hitting 'post'.

Much easier to use than a WAGON.

I have had 2. One new: was super hard to fold.

            One used: easy to fold.

I sometimes see them on kijiji but they get snapped up pretty quick.

The only downside to them is that when the kids are in them, it is darn heavy. So up and down curbs (even graded ones) might be challenging. Flat surfaces are fine. Very good workout, though.

Too bad you weren't closer. I'd sell you mine.

I have a Runabout in-line quad stroller by Berg Designs. I love it. It's $$$$$ but totally worth it for me. It's narrow enough to push through normal sidewalks and still let people walk by and I can get through doors. I can go through cement, dirt, grass and sand no problem which is helpful at parks since I can leave a baby or sleeping child in the seat and still keep the stroller near me on the playground instead of on the sidewalk or something. They're $1,200. I still think it's worth it.

I LOVE it! I haven't seen that one before. Are all the blue thingies that are hanging down straps?

                  Thanks everyone!

I would much prefer the runabout where everyone is in a line rather than the quad but I cannot justify the price!! I have also looked everywhere for one used but nothing is coming up so they definitely sell second hand fast which is good if I end up hating it

The quad is at Foundations Quad is at Walmart for $625 CDN so not too bad to try it out.
