    Rsv

What are your illness policy's reguarding RSV? I have a 1yr old who was sent home with fever of 101.2 found out she has RSV mom kept her home one day and brought her back today she still has a terrible cough.

How long do you require them to stay home? Do you require doctors note to return to card? How deeply do i need to prevent the spread of this? Any help and advise is greatly apprecieated thank you!

Here is a fact sheet for parents: http://http://www.hennepin.us/-/media/hennepinus/residents/health-medical/infectious-diseases-fact-sheets/rsv-parent.pdf?la=en

My understanding is that RSV in older children and adults is just a cold. Anytime we have a cold it could be RSV, but in younger children/Infants and immune compromised people it could be serious/life threatening.

Thanks black cat for the info. She is not on a nebulizer treatment that I know of. She is on antibiotics for an ear infection. I printed that technical sheet out for all my daycare families as well was illness policy reminder.
