Do any of you have an FAQ sheet for interviews? I haven't had a problem with a parent understanding/following my policies yet, but I'm new. Do you think it would be rude or insult their intelligence. However, there are always those what if's. I was thinking of questions that would apply things such as days off, payment, emergency situations, maternity leaves ect...

I have a long list of FAQ'S on my daycare facebook page, in the notes section.
It was a HUGE hit.
It does, however, include how I treat diaper rash, prepare meals, get stains out, get them to nap, disinfect toys, etc.... By including "tips of the trade", as well as what I expect from them, it does not come off as merely punitive.- Unless otherwise stated, all my posts are personal opinion and worth what you paid for them.- Flag

I started with my big ones, than added more over they years as parents found new a creative ways to get around the policies I had. Here was my most frequently asked question for 2010....yours may be different.
1. Q. My child was not here two days last week, so how much do I owe you for this week?
A. You will owe your full tuition regardless of attendance. Tuition is based on 6 available placements, not attendance. You fees will be due in full, whether your child attends, or not, during said week to maintain enrollment. If at any time payment is not received, your placement will be filled with a child from the waiting list. As a courtesy, I will place you back on the waiting list, but please be advised that it is currently at the 4 year mark.- Unless otherwise stated, all my posts are personal opinion and worth what you paid for them.- Flag
