    Updating Sick Policies

    Ladies
I'm working on updating my sick policies and I am on the part about RSV how long does a child have to stay home? I do not give meds so I will not be giving children with RSV breathing treatments in daycare.

I would say that you won't give meds including breathing treatments at your daycare, that children who are contagious may not attend, and that children with symptoms like a persistent cough may not attend (along with all your other policies).

The kids might have a bad cough but not be diagnosed. Imo pinpointing the disease specifically is a bit slippery, because people can have RSV and not really know it, or they might not have been taken to the doc.
