    Thrush???

School me on the latest recommendations. We've not (in 28 years) had it.
    Baby is 7 mo.
    Mom is nursing.
    Baby has rash.
Last night/This morning mom developed sore nipples (and had a oh. 'This is what' must be going on' moment ) and began OTC treatment. Will see doc Monday if not gone.
What do I do? I have another same age.
    What do I clean?
    Do I send home?
    What precautions do I take.
A google search brought up conflicting things even on this forum and I know it's not the latest info.

She's fine. Just has a rash.

I don't take infants anymore, but when my own ds had it and I did daycare I separated him until it was clear. Different toys, on a blanket, sanitized toys well before returning them back to 'gen pop'.

Gentian violet? Yogurt? I had purple nipples for a while.

Thankfully this is the stationary baby and I'm better able to keep it separated. I'm really hoping it's not contagious because the other is a moving ninja and yesterday got to her before I could react. She grabbed his mokawk. He grabbed her face. They had a "come to Jesus" dominance meeting that lasted about 3.5 seconds and it involved his fingers in her mouth and his hair tangled around her fingers.
Now I'm worried about contamination. Ugh.
The things that are NOT in the job manual.

I had suspected thrush with my daughter and as a precaution I used genetian violet and sterilized the heck out of everything. Do you have a steam cycle on your dishwasher? That helps a lot as you will need to thoroughly sterilize bottles after each feed. Yeast is the worst!! I didn't end up having it which was good but I still had to go through all of that.

I'm sending her home. Recommending a dr visit. Her rash is horrible.
