    Question for IL Providers

I am in the beginning stages of setting up my home for daycare. I've been reading the licensing requirements and they're not always clear. One, in particular, has me puzzled.

"When used for child care, floors shall have protective covering such as, but not limited to, tile, carpet or linoleum. Paint or sealer alone is not acceptable as a protective covering."

I'm assuming hardwood floors are okay, but I wanted to double check since they're not mentioned here. Thanks!

Yep! It just means you can't use painted cement floors like in a basement.
